23:57Now PlayingAshley Monroe was in court on Wednesday for her sentencing hearing. She pleaded no contest after she allegedly drove through a group of family members walking along the road in Michigan in 2024. She was pregnant and drunk at the time of the crash. The state said that Monroe had an alcohol amount of .195 in her system at the time of the crash and was on medications that say not to drink alcohol. Two people, Johnathan Esch and Daniel Harris, were killed, and dozens of others were injured. The state asked the judge to hold Monroe accountable for her actions and show the community that this will not be tolerated.
