7:06:10Now PlayingThe case against Dustin Duren is set to unfold at trial after he was accused of killing his partner, Caytlyn Naffziger, in February 2024 in Berlin, New Hampshire, before allegedly fleeing with their one and four-year-old daughters. He was later arrested in Keene with the kids and charged with second-degree murder, reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, and child endangerment, Duren later accused Naffziger of trying to kidnap their kids. Duren’s defense team has filed motions to dismiss the charges, arguing that his right to a speedy trial was violated. They are also seeking to suppress key evidence, claiming the Amber Alert implied he did not have legal custody of the children. If found guilty, Duren could face life in prison.
