They claimed that Andrews simply went along with her boyfriend but was never told what was happening and was afraid to ask out of fear of angering her allegedly abusive boyfriend and co-conspirator, Isaiah Chance. The defense maintained that the evidence presented by the state was not enough to prove that Andrews wanted the rapper dead.
