Prosecutors say she kept him locked in a room and starved him. The victim has since changed his name, and the state pushed to keep his new identity, address, and medical records sealed for safety reasons. The defense argued that restricting this information violated Sullivan’s right to confront her accuser and claimed the state failed to prove any real safety threat. In the end, the judge ruled that the victim’s name and address can be shared with the defense team — but only for trial purposes.
