Thompson, who was 15 at the time, is now awaiting sentencing, which is expected to last about two weeks. Authorities say he first shot his brother, James, inside their home, then killed two women in the street, shot a police officer on his way to work, and finally opened fire on a nearby trail, killing two more people.
