On Monday, the court heard jail calls made by Tanner Horner after he was arrested in connection with the murder of Athena Strand. Horner pleaded guilty to capital murder just as his trial was set to begin. During one of the calls, you can hear Horner say, “I always wanted to be famous but not like this.” He is also heard laughing at certain points of the conversation.
