42:50Now PlayingDr. Ebony Parker faces eight counts of felony child neglect for not preventing a first grade student from shooting a teacher, Abby Zwerner, inside a classroom. Parker was the former assistant principal at Richneck Elementary School in Virginia. Authorities say no students were physically injured when the child — identified in court as ‘JT’ — allegedly shot Zwerner in the hand and chest, leaving her critically wounded. Parker was previously found grossly negligent in a civil case over her reported awareness of the gun before the shooting. The child’s mother, Deja Taylor, is currently serving four years in prison after pleading guilty to both state and federal charges.
