18:43Now PlayingThe state kicked off opening statements in the murder case against ex-convenience store owner Rick Chow. Chow is accused of killing 14-year-old Cyrus Carmack-Belton in May 2023. Chow and his family accused Carmack of stealing four bottles of water at their store. The prosecutor stated that the teen took the bottles out of his backpack and put them back. He said that the teen was verbally confronted and chased by Chow and his son before he was fatally shot.
