Killins initially said he did not understand why the charges were included and insisted he had not committed a crime. After speaking with his attorney, he ultimately agreed to include the lesser charges in the jury instructions. Killins is accused of kidnapping and assaulting a DoorDash driver, shooting a woman and assaulting another person before his arrest.
