On Monday, tensions between the United States and Israel further escalated as the UN passed a resolution urging an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
The United States chose to abstain from the vote at the United Nations Security Council, allowing the first ceasefire resolution since the October 7 attacks to pass.
In retaliation, Benjamin Netanyahu cancelled a planned high-level visit to Washington and accused the US of backtracking.
