as posted by the channel

Ali Miraj speaks to Ex-Deputy Chief of the Defence Staff, General Sir Richard Barrons, who echoes James Heappey's warning that Britain has 'failed to prepare itself for war.'

Heappey and Ben Wallace have raised concerns about the country's lack of preparedness for war compared to its allies. Heappey has highlighted how only Ministry of Defence (MoD) officials turned up to an exercise to prepare for wartime scenarios, while Wallace has criticised a mindset in government of hoping for problems to disappear.

In a Daily Telegraph article, Heappey also pointed out that the UK trails behind allies like Sweden, which has taken proactive steps to educate citizens about wartime preparations, such as distributing booklets on emergency provisions.
