James O'Brien reacts after Iran fired around 200 missiles at Israel, in apparent retaliation at Israel's incursion in Lebanon to fight Hezbollah.

Footage and images show missiles in the skies above Israeli cities. The US took part in shooting down some of the missiles.

Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari said the Israeli Air Force will "strike powerfully in the Middle East" tonight.

James wonders what it means when Netanyahu says 'Iran will pay', and what price should be paid?

'I don't know that any of the key players want peace', says James, 'children are already dead in Lebanon, and Iran look set to follow'.

At the same time, the UK government has chartered a commercial flight out of Lebanon in a bid to help British nationals leave the country ahead of an ‘imminent’ Israeli incursion, the Foreign Secretary has announced.

Vulnerable British nationals and their spouse or partner, and children under the age of 18, will be prioritised for this flight, the Foreign Office says.
