Donald Trump won the US election and will make a historic return to the White House as the 47th president of the United States.
He becomes only the second person in history to win a non-consecutive second term.
He defeated Kamala Harris and at the age of 78 will become the oldest president ever inaugurated.
He won after seizing victory in the swing states of North Carolina, Georgia, and Pennsylvania.
Ms Harris conceded on Wednesday afternoon Eastern time, committing to a peaceful transition of power while vowing to continue fighting for the values of her campaign.
Mr Trump declared he had won a "magnificent victory for the American people" once it was clear he was on track to return to the White House as 47th president of the United States.
