Rabbi Jeffrey, one of 31 rabbis who signed a letter addressing international law in the Middle East, is praised by James for 'perfectly articulating' the challenges of speaking out from his position.
The ICC stated that the warrants, issued for "crimes against humanity and war crimes," relate to the ongoing war in Gaza and the October 7th attacks on Israel.
Announcing the warrants on Twitter, the court said: "ICC Pre-Trial Chamber I rejects the State of Israel’s challenges to jurisdiction and issues warrants of arrest for Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant."
