as posted by the channelThe deputy of Ukraine’s parliament says the US’s proposed minerals deal amounts to a “bubble”.
“We haven’t seen the draft of the deal in the Ukrainian parliament, so we're talking about bubbles right now,” Kira Rudik told LBC’s Matt Frei.
“The question I will ask is, what is in this deal for Ukrainian people?
“Not for politicians, not for geopolitical plans, I [want to] be able to explain to people who voted for us, what is in there for them.”
Ms Rudik's comments days after the Trump administration has threatened to walk away from peace negotiations between Ukraine and Russia if a ceasefire wasn’t agreed to soon.
But getting a deal quickly is something the Ukrainian MP said wasn’t something Moscow was in the habit of doing.
"There will be no quick wins here," she said.
"Russia will screw you over and you cannot trust them."
