as posted by the channelDiogo Jota's grieving wife was seen arriving at his funeral on Saturday alongside Liverpool teammates, friends and family, as mourners gathered in Portugal to pay their respects to the striker.
The mother-of-three was seen hugging family and friends as she exited her car close to the church in Jota's hometown of Gondomar, where he and his brother will be laid to rest as part of a joint funeral.
Arriving with flowers, stars including Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk and Manchester City captain Bernardo Silva were seen to enter the chapel, alongside Jorge Mendes, Diogo Jota's agent.
Applause rang out as van Dijk arrived carrying two flower wreaths in the shape of shirts, with the numbers 20 and 30 - one for Jota, and the other for Silva.
The Liverpool star's wooden coffin arrived at Igreja Matriz de Gondomar church in the town of Gondomar near Porto on Saturday morning, with mourners dressed in white shirts carrying the footballer's body into the church.
