10:18Now PlayingTensions appear to be boiling over again, just as we approach the one year anniversary of last summer's riots.
Essex Police have made 10 arrests following a series of protests outside an asylum hotel in Epping. Four men were later charged with violent disorder.
This was precipitated after a refugee staying in the Bell Hotel allegedly attempted to kiss a 14-year-old girl.
The force said the protests began peacefully but “escalated to the point of disorder and criminal damage”.
The unrest appears to be spreading, with similar protests in Norfolk and Tower Hamlets. Are we heading for a repeat of last summer? Or is there a way to prevent this?
