19:04Now PlayingAs Trump's war rages in Iran, Trump's Justice Department is trying to quietly end the biggest anti-Iran sanctions case in history. Turkey's state-run Halkbank was charged with laundering $20 billion in Iranian oil money, and the case has been a thorn in Trump's side since his first term. Now, Trump's DOJ offered Halkbank a deal to end the case without paying a penny. Georgetown University adjunct professor Sinan Ciddi, a senior fellow at Foundation for Defense of Democracies, recently wrote a column asking: "Why is Washington going soft on the Turkish banks enabling Iran’s terrorism?" Ciddi joins Adam Klasfeld of All Rise News to discuss the development.
