11:38Now PlayingAttorneys Brian Kabateck and Shant Karnikian run through the growing list of lawyers who've represented Donald Trump and paid a professional price for it, from Roy Cohn's 1986 disbarment to Michael Cohen's guilty plea and prison sentence to Rudy Giuliani's disbarment in both New York and Washington, D.C. over his 2020 election claims. Brian and Shant work through the fake-elector cases in Arizona and Georgia that have snared John Eastman, Kenneth Chesebro, Sidney Powell, Jenna Ellis, Jeffrey Clark, Christina Bobb, and Cleta Mitchell, and the more recent casualties: Alina Habba, disqualified from serving as New Jersey's U.S. Attorney, and Lindsey Halligan, whose unlawful appointment got the indictments of James Comey and Letitia James thrown out. They close with the newest entries, arising from Trump's failed $10 billion IRS lawsuit: Judge Kathleen Williams referred Alejandro Brito to the Florida Bar, barred Daniel Epstein from practicing in her courthouse for a year, and sent copies of her order to the New York and D.C. bars where Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and Associate Attorney General Stanley Woodward are already facing ethics complaints. Brian's bottom line: representing Donald Trump has become one of the most reliable ways to end a legal career, and the list keeps growing.
