YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThere was scandal at the BBC this week - don't worry, the kids are safe - this was the BBC's recently-appointed head of sport Alex Kay-Jelski who came under fire for claiming sporting legends Sharron Davies and Martina Navratilova are "not experts" on the subject of trans athletes.
Except they are. Sharron has even written a book on this exact subject.
Alex also made some dodgy comments around race, suggesting that having separate categories for trans athletes was comparable to having 'special categories for Jamaican sprinters and Ethiopian marathon runners as their genetics has been shown to give them an advantage over their rivals'.
So he's claiming that Jamaican and Ethiopian people are as radically genetically different to other ethnicities are as males are to females?
I don't think even Hitler went that far.
