The latest historical revisionism to come from our captured academia is the claim that Shakespeare was a black woman. (Spoiler alert: he wasn't.)
The justifications given for the claim that the bard was melanated are themselves shaky, classist and racist. The woman, Emilia Bassano, wasn't even black. She was a mixture of North African and Jewish heritage. Instead of uplifting an unfairly marginalised minority, this idiotic academic is casting doubt on the genuine achievements of Emilia Bassano.
