Look, I feel bad making this video because she seems like a nice woman and her heart's in the right place (and is pumping harder than Bonnie Blue). And I agree with her that health should be taught in school.

But...

She's demanding that the government put work into prolonging her life. I'm sorry, but at least meet the government halfway. There's no state-funded education required to know that eating fewer pies and moving around more will be healthier. Don't rely on the government to slap donuts out of your hand.

And she says: "As a person from an ethnic minority background, in some communities it's actually taboo and quite a sensitive topic to talk about, so if you're not able to learn about these things in school, then where do you learn?"

I have no problem accepting people with foreign heritage as British if they properly accept British values (and preferably have a posh English accent). But you can't claim to be British and then also moan that you need special treatment because you're an ethnic minority. If you want to be British, YOU put the effort in to accommodate British services. Don't expect the government to put effort into accommodating you. You're either British or you're not.

Because if your "cultural differences" mean you need special treatment, then resources have to be diverted from the core business of health. That's a big problem. These are resources taken away from being spent on things like dialysis machines for children.

If we had one culture, our public services would be much more efficient and effective.
