A British town rejects the "far right" - and gets exactly what it asked for.

Llantwit Major is a small seaside town in Wales. A few years ago, the government proposed a migrant camp in the centre of town. Anti-migrant groups warned that this could have downsides. Then far-left groups came into the town and convinced the residents that the migrant camp would be good (no more than 90 people, mostly young Ukrainian women fleeing the war) and reminded them that they must reject the far right, or they would look racist.

Eager to not look racist, the townspeople staged a counter-protest to the supposed far right and said, "We reject racism! Refugees are welcome here!" The town's voices - Jack, the football club DJ; Father Edwin Counsell, the town's punk-turned-priest; Councillor Gwyn John - all spoke out to condemn "far-right bigots".

73 year old Annie voiced support for the migrant camp. She "loves guerrilla gardening and co-ordinates a seed-swap with other gardening enthusiasts in her community.” Well, that's good, because you're about to get 300 young men from the Horn of Africa who want to swap their seed as well.

A huge victory for the left, with local townspeople speaking out about how definitely not racist they are, and the BBC writing gushing articles about the plucky little town that rejected the far right.

But then the migrant camp was built. The townspeople got what they asked for, and now they're not happy.

At the time, Councillor Gwyn John slammed residents' objections to the migrant camp. Now that it's been built, he's complaining about phoning his doctor and being 33rd in the queue. (The migrant camp was built on the site of a proposed medical centre, which has been shelved).

And the proposed blonde, nubile Ukrainian women have stopped coming, but the refugees who haven't stopped coming are men from Africa, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and the Middle East.

They're being put up in a sprawling complex that butts right up against residents' gardens, with the housing units peering directly into their homes, just metres away.

I hope British towns are ready for this. Andy Burnham wants to move migrants around the country to anywhere where the Labour vote needs to be bolstered by some imported Third World leftists. So either get used to this - or be prepared to be called racist.
