I visited UVU in Provo last week and stood on the ground where the tragedy occurred, angry that we aren't seeing what it all means.
Everyone wants to debate mental illness, guns, security, or political extremism.Those conversations matter. But I believe they're treating the symptom instead of the disease.
This video isn't about celebrating Charlie Kirk's death. It isn't about excusing political violence. **I condemn what happened at Utah Valley University.** Political violence is never the answer.
It's about asking why America keeps producing it.
As a lifelong feminist and former MAGA Christian nationalist, I have watched organizations like Turning Point USA become enormously influential while openly advocating policies that threaten women's rights and bodily autonomy. But TPUSA didn't grow into a national powerhouse through campus enthusiasm alone.
It was built with hundreds of millions of dollars from billionaire donors.
In this video, I trace the money behind Turning Point USA, including donors like Foster Friess, Richard and Elizabeth Uihlein, Bernie Marcus, DonorsTrust, and others, and ask a question that almost nobody seems willing to ask:
**What happens to democracy when billionaires can finance entire political movements while ordinary Americans struggle to pay rent?**
If people begin to believe they no longer have a meaningful voice in government, what happens next?
This is a conversation about power, patriarchy, money, political influence, democracy, women's rights, and why so many Americans feel like "We the People" has become little more than a slogan.
