Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and former special prosecutor Nathan Wade were seen together in police bodycam footage during the August 24 arrest of Willis' pregnant daughter, Kinaya, for allegedly driving with a suspended license. Despite claims that their romantic relationship had ended, the two appeared on the scene together, leading to speculation about their current status.

In the footage, the officers initially mistook Wade for Kinaya's father, but Willis clarified that he was “just a friend.” Willis did not attempt to use her position to influence the arrest and was cooperative with the officers. After the arrest, Willis drove her daughter’s car from the scene while Wade left in their vehicle.
