Cellphone data placed Robinson at the scene that day, and a Google Maps route on his phone directed toward the UVU campus.The warrants also describe a handwritten note Robinson allegedly left for his roommate and romantic partner, referred to as Luna. The letter read in part: Luna, if you are reading this per my text, then I am so sorry... I left the house this morning on a mission... I am likely dead, or facing a lengthy prison sentence. I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk, and I took it. It continued with expressions of love and regret, saying he hoped to return home but accepted the consequences.Robinson, 22, faces aggravated murder and other charges, with prosecutors seeking the death penalty. He surrendered to authorities the day after the shooting. The new documents add to earlier evidence, including alleged confessions in messages and forensic links to the weapon.
