If TPUSA is going to survive, it must make three immediate decisions: fire Andrew Kolvet, fire Blake Neff and ask Erika Kirk to step away from public leadership. This is not personal. It is institutional triage. The organization cannot continue hemorrhaging credibility while the same figures remain at the center of every controversy, distraction and self-inflicted wound. Charlie built a movement around faith, free markets, constitutional liberty, courage and the willingness to confront hostile institutions. What remains now too often resembles an endless internal drama, managed by people who appear more interested in controlling the conversation than preserving the mission.
Kolvet and Neff have become symbols of a communications operation that seems incapable of reading the room. Instead of calming disputes, clarifying facts and protecting the organization’s credibility, they repeatedly appear to inflame suspicion, insult skeptics and turn legitimate questions into personal feuds. That is not leadership. It is malpractice.
Erika Kirk presents a different but equally serious problem. Her presence has become inseparable from controversy, yet the public still struggles to identify the principles, policies or ideas she is advancing. A movement cannot survive on grief, personality and public relations alone. It requires intellectual clarity, moral authority and a recognizable purpose.
The question is no longer whether these three individuals deserve sympathy, loyalty or another opportunity. The question is whether TPUSA intends to preserve Charlie’s vision or permit it to be consumed by chaos. Institutions sometimes survive tragedy only by making painful, decisive changes. Delay will not heal this. Silence will not repair it. More branding, staged appearances and influencer defenses will not restore trust.
Remove the distractions, return to first principles and rebuild around Charlie’s actual message. Otherwise TPUSA will not merely lose relevance. It will become the instrument through which his legacy is finally and completely destroyed.
