Andrew Wilson @paleochristcon went on Joe Rogan apparently expecting to dismantle Candace Owens and demolish the so-called exploding-mic hypothesis. Instead, he may have accomplished the exact opposite. He spent enormous energy attacking Candace while barely engaging the central evidentiary problems surrounding the Tyler Robinson case. He never meaningfully confronted the questions about ballistics, weapon linkage, rooftop evidence, the absence of direct video showing the trigger pull, the disputed significance of DNA, the alleged confessions or the broader chain of proof connecting Robinson to Charlie Kirk’s assassination. Debunking one theory is not the same thing as proving another. That is the fundamental analytical failure. A prosecutor does not win by saying the defense theory sounds ridiculous. A prosecutor wins by establishing the government’s case affirmatively, element by element, with admissible evidence. Wilson never did that. Worse for his own argument, appearing on Rogan exposed millions of listeners who may never have followed the controversy to the very questions he presumably hoped to bury. Instead of closing the case, he advertised it. Instead of destroying Candace’s argument, he potentially introduced an enormous new audience to the unresolved issues. In trying to extinguish the controversy, he may have poured gasoline on it.
