9:08Now PlayingThe bombs used in Sunday's strike in Gaza's southernmost city of Rafah that reportedly killed dozens of Palestinians appear to be ones manufactured in the US, according to a visual analysis from the New York Times and other news outlets.
Due to their precision, the US had urged Israel to use those bombs, known as GBU39s. They were reportedly used in the strike, which the Israel Defense Forces called a targeted attack on two senior Hamas officials.
After the strike, there was a deadly fire in a camp for displaced Palestinians. The IDF said the fire was likely caused by a secondary explosion, possibly sparked by a Hamas weapons warehouse nearby.
