YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThe race to determine who will be Donald Trump's running mate this November is in full swing but a rare constitutional amendment could impact who he selects.
The 12th amendment, adopted in 1803, bars electoral college voters from casting ballots for president and vice president from their home state.
Several potential Trump vice presidential picks, including Marco Rubio and Byron Donalds, live in Florida, as does Trump.
“Marco has this residency problem,” is how Trump has taken to describing Rubio's VP chances, according to The Bulwark.
LiveNOW's Andrew Craft spoke about Trump's vice president sweepstakes with Tom LoBianco, from 24sight News.
LoBianco said the fix is pretty easy it seems. Trump would just have to change addresses, he resides routinely in three different states: New York, New Jersey and Florida.
