5:36:51Now PlayingColt Gray, the 14-year-old student charged with murdering two of his classmates and two teachers at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia makes his first court appearance on Friday morning.
Investigators allege Colt Gray used a semiautomatic assault-style rifle in Wednesday’s attack at his school outside of Atlanta, also wounding nine people.
No motive has been revealed by authorities and they have also not said how the student obtained the gun or got it into the school.
The teen’s father, Colin Gray, 54, was charged Thursday in connection with the shooting, including with counts of involuntary manslaughter and second-degree murder, Georgia Bureau of Investigation Director Chris Hosey.
“His charges are directly connected with the actions of his son and allowing him to possess a weapon,” Hosey said. Colin Gray’s first court appearance also was set for Friday.
Palestinian health officials say Israeli strikes in the occupied West Bank killed six people, including the son of a prominent jailed militant. Israel said all of those killed were militants who had been involved in attacks.
