6:44Now PlayingFBI records released Thursday by Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) show Iran-backed entities tried to assassinate former President Donald Trump, President Joe Biden, former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley and other US politicians in retaliation for the killing of Qasem Soleimani, the head of the Quds Force, part of Iran’s Revolutionary Corp.
Senator Grassley obtained the records through legally protected whistle blower disclosures, which revealed that Iran potentially targeted “politicians, military people or bureaucrats.”
In a statement to Fox, Grassley said, “I won’t stop pressing for answers until Congress and the American people are afforded the transparency they deserve.”
