as posted by the channelKentucky Governor Andy Beshear provides update on deadly flooding, and ongoing weather concerns, as we now learn that at least 11 people have died due to the catastrophic flooding in the area.
Governor Beshear said hundred of people were stranded by flooding and had to be rescued. Most of the deaths, including a mother and 7-year-old child, were caused as a result of cars getting stuck in high water.
Officials have rescued about 1,000 people across the state since the storm started on Saturday. Parts of Tennessee has received up to six inches of rain.
