4:51Now PlayingThe "Ketamine Queen" has been charged with selling Matthew Perry the drug that killed him, agreeing to plead guilty. This is the nickname for Jasveen Sangha, who becomes the fifth and final defendant charged in the death of the TV star to strike a plea agreement with federal prosecutors. LiveNOW’s Mike Pache is speaking with TMZ’s Michael Babcock about Sangha, who was known to her customers as the "Ketamine Queen". Prosecutors used the term often in press releases and court documents.
Matthew Perry, a star from the hit TV show 'Friends', died from a ketamine overdose in October 2023.
Sangha avoids a trial that was planned for September. Prosecutors will also drop three other counts related to the distribution of ketamine, and one count related to the distribution of methamphetamine, which were unrelated to the Perry case.
