The shutdown has led to record delays and cancellations at major airports nationwide, as Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy warns it could get worse as the holidays approach. He has implements a 4% reduction in flights as of Friday, but that is expected to stretch to 10% late next week, and could reach 20% if the shutdown does not end.
Zohran Mamdani, fresh off his win in the New York City mayoral election has traveled to Puerto Rico for a conference with big name New York Democrats.
