6:40Now Playing11/9/23 LA County Fire Department E69 arrived on scene at 22500 Saddle Peak Rd to find a single-story single-family dwelling well involved with fire. Due to the red flag conditions the fire then spread into the brush and started an approximately 5 acre brushfire. BC5 also arrived on scene and requested a second alarm response. Fortunately, air resources from the Los Angeles county fire department were able to quickly knock down the extension into the brush. HT55, a chinook helicopter outfitted with a 3000 gallon water tank, put in outstanding work in knocking down the flames. Due to the structure being completely involved, and with a lack of resources HT55 was able to drop on the structure to help the ground resources out.
