Notes: LAFD arrived on scene to find a single vehicle auto rollover that slammed into a hydrant and an energized light standard as shown in the footage, the hydrant flew approximately 500 feet and slammed into a gas station pillar causing damage, where it came to rest. The patient was extricated by Los Angeles city firefighters in critical condition out of his flipped over car. The hydrant has yet to be shut down due to a stripped valve and active power lines down. DWP has been requested. The intersection remains completely shut down and it’s causing a major traffic delay.
