as posted by the channelSince October 7th, 2023, the Israel-Palestine Conflict picked up steam, and the IDF has been actively fighting Hamas in Gaza. While the conflict was not new, and there's over 70 years of history, this became a turning point because Israel made it their goal to take out Hamas after the attacks on October 7th.
Hamas also has a long history - on top of the atrocities they committed on October 7th, since they were elected 20 years ago in Gaza, they haven't held a single election. Many leftists claim Hamas is the only resistance towards Israeli occupation, but fail to acknowledge Hamas's own history of cruelty towards their own citizens, their propaganda network, and their failures.
This changes now - because mass protests have broken out in Gaza - the Palestinian people in Gaza want Hamas out of power. This is an incredibly brave move on the part of the Gazan people, given Hamas's methods used on those who publicly speak out against them.
In this video, Lonerbox talks about the ongoing conflict, visiting the recent protests against Hamas, and what this could mean for the Israel Palestine conflict in general.
