25:31Now PlayingSean "Diddy" Combs, and his former longtime partner and R&B singer Cassie Ventura, settle the bombshell rape, abuse, and sex trafficking lawsuit one day after she filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Thursday, Cassie’s lawyer had said Combs offered her “eight figures” to keep her from filing her lawsuit. Combs’ lawyer said Ventura demanded $30 million while threatening to write a book about their relationship. Combs called the suit’s “baseless and outrageous lies”.
Late Friday, Combs and Ventura agreed on a cash settlement. Combs' attorney says the settlement is not an admittance of guilt.
