4:57Now PlayingThousands of Israeli nationalists marched through a Palestinian area of Jerusalem, chanting "Death to Arabs" and other anti-Arab and anti-Islamic slogans. The march, led by far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, aimed to send a message to Hamas asserting Israeli claims over Jerusalem. The event commemorated "Jerusalem Day," marking Israel's 1967 capture of east Jerusalem. While Israel considers all of Jerusalem its capital, the international community does not recognize the annexation, and Palestinians view the march as a provocation.
