Despite being the fastest-growing group of entrepreneurs in America, Black women receive only 0.35% of venture capital funding. Investors, banks, and the system itself block access to capital. So when a white billionaire—who sits at the top of that system—tells Black women to grind harder, it comes off as tone-deaf and dismissive. Instead of preaching financial survival tactics, Cuban should be using his wealth and influence to change the game.
