SS-Panzergrenadier-Division LSSAH
Am 15. Juli 1942 wurde aus der „verstärkten Leibstandarte“ durch Umgliederung nunmehr eine Panzergrenadier-Division, also einen teilgepanzerten Verband mit einer eigenen Panzerabteilung. Diese wurde als „SS-Panzergrenadier-Division LSSAH“ bezeichnet. Sie war in folgende Verbände gegliedert
Infanterie-Regiment 1 LSSAH (1.–3. Bataillon)
Infanterie-Regiment 2 LSSAH (1.–3. Bataillon)
Panzer-Regiment LSSAH (I. und II. Abteilung)
Artillerie-Regiment LSSAH (I.–III. Abteilung und Meß-Batterie)
Aufklärungs-Abteilung LSSAH (1.–4. Kompanie und Panzer-Späh-Kompanie)
Panzerjäger-Abteilung LSSAH (1.–3. Kompanie)
Sturmgeschütz-Abteilung LSSAH (1.–3. Batterie)
Flak-Abteilung LSSAH (1.–5. Batterie)
Pionier-Bataillon LSSAH (1.–3. Kompanie) und weitere typische Divisionstruppen wie die Panzer-Nachrichten-Abteilung
