3:57Now PlayingThe most prominent chandelier in the State Capitol was returned to its location at a special event held Thursday, January 17. The chandelier was slowly raised to the top of the interior Capitol dome before being lit for the viewing legislators and spectators.
The chandelier was removed for about two years, while construction work on the dome took place. Brian Pease from the Minnesota Historical Society talks with Julie Bartkey about the restoration efforts, plus highlights of the raising and lighting ceremony.
