Also, a large achievement gap between students of color and white students and a growing teacher shortage are two issues challenging Minnesota's educational system. The Increase Teachers of Color Act, sponsored by Senator Carla Nelson, R-Rochester, is a comprehensive bill that seeks to address both of those concerns. Senator Nelson talks with Shannon about her proposal.
