34:35Now PlayingOn a 64-0 vote, the Senate gave its final approval to a bill funding public health efforts to address the COVID-19 virus in Minnesota. Sponsored by Senator Jerry Relph, R-St. Cloud, the measure appropriates about $21 million dollars to the Public Health Response Emergency Account.
Minnesota public health officials have identified two cases in Minnesota, with additional testing underway. The additional funding will enable state health officials to continue testing, monitor potential outbreaks, coordinate responses and inform the public about the status of the pandemic.
