Under the bill, sponsored by Senator Scott Jensen, R-Chaska, pharmacies would provide patients with 30 days of insulin for $75. The patients would receive additional information regarding available state insurance programs. Furthermore, insulin manufacturers would establish assistance programs rather than pay a manufacturing fee.
