One bill, SF 4500, sponsored by Senate Committee Chair Michelle Benson, R-Ham Lake, would establish a grant program for COVID-19 serological testing, which determines whether an individual has been exposed to the Coronavirus. A second proposal, S.F. 4476, sponsored by Senator Carla Nelson, R-Rochester, would offer grants for advanced research and testing development needed as the pandemic continues.
