Senator Scott Dibble, DFL-Minneapolis, noted that executive orders are only a temporary solution and that the Minnesota legislature is not off the hook. “I call on my colleagues and the leadership of the Senate and the House to join me in passing our legislation, to codify the provisions of this executive order, to stand up for those who have no political power and no legal standing of their own,” he said.
