8:19Now PlayingAccording to the latest data from the American Gaming Association, Minnesota is one of a dozen states that is not currently moving forward with legislation to legalize sports betting. But that may soon change. Over the last few years, bipartisan efforts that would allow sports betting in Minnesota have stalled, but signs are pointing to a potential break in the log jam. Senator Roger Chamberlain, R-Lino Lakes, has spearheaded recent efforts to legalize sports betting, and he joins Capitol Report Moderator Shannon Loehrke to preview his proposal that likely will be reviewed by the Senate during the 2022 session.
