But that may soon change. Over the last few years, bipartisan efforts that would allow sports betting in Minnesota have stalled, but signs are pointing to a potential break in the log jam. Senator Roger Chamberlain, R-Lino Lakes, has spearheaded recent efforts to legalize sports betting, and he joins Capitol Report Moderator Shannon Loehrke to preview his proposal that likely will be reviewed by the Senate during the 2022 session.
