Minnesota's Hometown Heroes Assistance Program is the best in the nation when it comes to supporting firefighters and their health. The bill that created the program received unanimous support in not only the Senate but the House as well. But here in Minnesota, thanks to a bill authored by Senator Eric Pratt, R-Prior Lake, these first responders have a way to process that impact that's a little outside of the box - because it takes place in a barn. First responders can connect with themselves, clinicians, and yes, even horses, through equine-assisted therapy provided by Abijah's on the Backside.
